The Famunda All Stars have been together since 2005, and feature some of the sweetest voices in the Tampa Bay area.

The Famunda’s are about Fun and Fund Raising. The group’s pet cause is The Pediatric Cancer Foundation, and The Famunda’s raise money for it every year at Koncert 4 Kiddz.  The fourth one is coming in Feb of 2009.

The group was founded by Steve & Kathy Tidler, Tedd Webb, Nicole Valentin and Frank Garcia. The group was joined by Gary Kyle and Sergio Rosello and soon became a Sat night event at Tedd’s Place.

The parties got too large and The Famunda All Stars took it to clubs around the bay area, Including Stogie Castillo’s, Salutes, Alessi’s Tuscan Oven, Rigatoni’s and now at The Hip Hop Soda shop on Fowler Ave. in North Tampa.

Stars like Melanie Rose, Dennis Lee, Joe Lala, Eric Foreman, Daisy Ash, Carlos & Carol Pazos, Leapin’ Lanny Poffo, Paula Gaskins,

Michael Dunn, Bryan Wilson, Tanya Loira, Brenda Ayala, and Brenda Terry have made the lineup a very talented roster.

The group is often visited by Joe Lala, founding member of Blues Image (Ride Captain Ride), and a storied career as a session man in Los Angeles, playing on records and touring with the likes of Stephen Stills, Rod Stewart, The Bee Gees, Crosby Stills and Nash, and may other top acts. Lala is now an actor with credits that include Havana with Robert Redford, The Arturo Sandoval Story with Andy Garcia, and numerous TV and Soap Opera appearances.

Dennis Lee, the star of The Dennis Lee Show, which tours America on the state fair circuit, is a familiar face at the show. He brings a wealth of energy to our Friday nights. Dennis was recently inducted into The State Fair Hall of Fame.
